Well, my new favorite saying is “Praise Him in the Hallway.”
I remember scriptures like, Psalms 91:14-16, which says The lord will rescue those who love Him; protect those who trust in His name. It says "When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.” Then I can remember to trust God. I can remember that He is with me in trouble and trouble don’t last always…hallelujah.
I remember Psalms 9:10, which reminds us that those who know God’s name trust in Him, for he has never forsaken those who seek Him. Not forsaken, but cherished…hallelujah! Praise His holy name.
And if I’m not up and singing praises and looking at my situation from a totally different perspective by then, I remind myself that I need to be transformed by the renewing of my mind and then I will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will and know that anything negative is not God’s will for my life. I’m renewed and the storms that I am allowed to go through are so that God can bring me out.
The highlight of my remembering and praising and rejoicing of late has been this song by J. Moss. If these scriptures haven’t already taken you into worship. Let us enter into worship now.
