Listen to Jesus’ Words in John 10:27-28, saying,
"My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of My Hand. "
As believers, we all want to hear God’s voice. Why? Because we are Jesus’ sheep and we long to know where our Shepherd is leading us. Yet, so many of us feel as if we are in life all alone. We are like Shepherd-less sheep, wandering without purpose or any direction at all. And this is exactly what Satan would like us all to believe. But let us be thankful and rejoice that is so far from the truth.com! God did gave us a special gift—the Holy Spirit to dwell in us so that He may in close fellowship or relationship with you and me. God wants us to be able to hear His Voice not only today but always just like Adam and Eve heard Him in the garden of Eden. Often times we look to God to speak to us in a thunderous and booming voice. Yes, that could happen. But His voice is also a quiet whisper. Today, as we go through the day, keep an ear out for that gentle whisper guiding and commanding us as we go through life. When we hear God’s voice and choose to obey His laws, we will find Him, no matter where we may be. There is nothing more sensational than that! Remember that God is in the thunder as well as the whisper, and He is completely in control of the outcome. Many times we miss out on hearing God’s voice because we don’t know how He speaks. —but in today’s Scripture passages, we find that His voice is that of a loving, kind and devoted Shepherd. Commit today to listening for His gentle whisper…let's take the time to slow down and listen.

Meditate On
His Goodness We are told to “be of the same mind toward one another” which means essentially that we must develop and maintain the mind of Christ or God’s thoughts. But if our thoughts are contrary to God’s, then we must exchange our thinking with God’s and for that process, He has given us His inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word. So what is our need? We are to study the Scripture, but for that to be effective, we also need to develop the art of biblical meditation. Enter into The Sanctuary to meditate on the Word of God.
