It is always a very comforting and encouraging thing, especially in the midst of the various trials and ordeals of our lives, to know that there is someone who is “for us” and who, therefore, cares for us and desires the best for us. When we are children we take comfort in knowing that our parents are for us. One of the things which makes a friend a true friend is that aspect of their affection that shows them to be for you when the going gets tough. As husbands and wives, the marriage bond of intimacy of fellowship is most deeply appreciated and enjoyed when each spouse confidently knows the other is for him or her regardless of what happens. Understanding and appreciating that someone is for us is a wonderful thing, and it should wondrously work in the details of our lives to produce needed comfort, encouragement, confidence, peace, rest, joy, and a host of other things which stabilize and gladden our hearts.
So“Who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31) The answer to this is “no one.” Sure we can be persecuted, talked about, mistreated and hurt here on earth, but eternally we will live and bask in the Glory of Christ forever. God is the only one who can destroy us eternally and praise His name that He is for us. There is nothing in the world that can prevent us from walking on that path to completeness and victory. If God is for us, nothing can be against us. All we must do is walk on the path God has designed for us.
Does He rule your heart and mind today? Will you fulfill God’s purpose in your life? You can make that decision today… and it will change your life for eternity… let the dream giver come into your heart. If you truly believe in Jesus Christ and have made Him Lord and Savior of your life, you can have confidence in Romans 8:31. Stay strong in the Word and pray to live a life worthy of the calling.

Heavenly Father, I now put on my Helmet of Salvation. I declare that I am spiritually minded according to Romans 8:6 and have the mind of Christ according to 1 Corinthians 2:16. I take off the carnal way of thinking according to Romans 12:2 and putting on this Helmet. I no longer allow our five carnal senses to affect the way that we think. I exercise my spiritual senses, spiritual hearing, spiritual sight, spiritual touch, spiritual taste, and spiritual smell according to Romans 8:14.
Heavenly Father, I ask that You give us knowledge of Your Will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding and the strength and might of You, Lord, Your goodness and mercy shall follow me every day of my life. In You, I will praise Your Word and put my trust according to Psalms 16:1. I will not fear what flesh and blood can do to me according to Ephesians 6:12. I know that all things work together for good because I love You and I am called according to Your purpose according to Romans 8:28. According to Romans 8:31, if You are for us; who can be against us? You are on our side; we will not fear what man can do to us, according to Psalms 118:6. Now Lord, I bring my requests to You according to Philippians 4:6.
Help me to remember that my mind is a judge according to 1 Corinthians 11:31 and is always listening to fear or faith. Fear produces substances of things not hoped for, the evidence of this world’s circumstances: evidence of things we can hear, see, smell, taste, and touch. These things are temporal according to 2 Corinthians 4:18. God did not give us a spirit of fear according to 2 Timothy 1:7. Faith produces substances of things hoped for, the evidence of things from the Word of God; things we cannot hear, see, smell, touch or taste according to Hebrews 11:1. Now these things are eternal. From both of these reports, I choose to believe the report of the Lord according to 2 Timothy 1:12.
I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus according to Romans 8:37. I will overcome by the Blood of Jesus and the word of my testimony. I am the head and not the tail according to Deuteronomy 28:13; I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me according to Philippians 4:13. Your blessings are obdurately abounding in my life according to Corinthians 9:8. As I speak Your Word, we I know that it won’t return back to You void, but it will accomplish what it was sent to do according to Isaiah 55:11.
In Jesus’ Name and I declare the KINGDOM OF GOD COME, WILL OF GOD BE DONE IN EVERY STEP I TAKE AND WITH EVERY PERSON I MEET. Truly all things will work together for good for my good God, because I love you and I am called to Your purpose!
In the immaculate name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen!
